This is a question I have been asking myself for quite some time. It probably begins with the fact that I believe wholeheartedly in the stated mission and goals of ELOHIM’s Workshop. Having been raised in traditional Christianity as taught by my father, a pastor of the African American Episcopal Church, and studying some of the basic doctrines of a few other religions, I eventually read a book (God, the Black Man, the Truth) that challenged all that I had been taught by my father (who by the way was a fine pastor to his flocks) and the traditions of modernity’s Christianity (Sunday, Christmas, Easter, Halloween, etc.). This challenge led me to begin a course of Biblical study that has led me to fellowship with members of several congregations that somehow learned and accepted the one and only sign of messiahship given by YAHSHUA to the Pharisees as HE walked amongst the remnants of the Children of Yisrael (COY), the sign of Yonas (3 days and 3 nights in the grave).

Collectively, we have learned that there is but one way to understand this sign; that is to learn and accept ELOHIM’s plan of salvation that began at its core with the teachings of the commandments, laws, and statutes as given to the COY. We learned that without the knowledge of the Sabbath, the Passover, and Unleavened Bread, this sign CANNOT be understood. This led us to begin honoring these appointed times (Leviticus 23rd chapter) and seeing ELOHIM’s WORD from a Hebrew rather than a European foundation. Over time I was led to fellowship with both predominantly European and Hebrew Yisraelite (descendants of the transcontinental slave trade) congregations who have come to this basic knowledge.

Yet, in these days of modernity, those with this knowledge remain separated by other teachings of the leadership of the congregations they attend. That being said, I believe in the mission of the Household of Faith as desired by YAHSHUA HAMASHIAC. ELOHIM’s WORD admonishes those of the Household of Faith to be of one accord and one mind as witnessed by YAHWEH’s cry out to Yisrael, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” (Amos 3:3), and YAHSHUA’s final prayer before HE was offered, “Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us” (John 17:20-21).

This website presents my challenge and spiritual mission to myself and all others who would become and remain members of the Household of Faith until the end (Mathew 24:13), to clean out our old leaven (anything that is not written in ELOHIM’s WORD) together, to study to show ourselves approved together, to put on the whole armor of ELOHIM (Ephesians 6:10 – 18) together, and to eliminate from among us this growing unbiblical doctrine of modernity of “let’s agree to disagree”.    Shalom!
